POEMS
He who binds to himself a joy
Does the winged life destroy;
But he who kisses the joy as it flies
Lives in eternity's sunrise.
~ William Blake
You throw the sand against the wind
And
the wind blows it back again.
~
William Blake
This
life's dim windows of the soul,
Distorts the heavens from pole
to pole
And leads you to believe a lie
When you see with, not through,
the eye
~ William Blake
By Robert Frost: The Minor Bird
I have wished a bird would fly away,
And not sing by my house all day;
Have clapped my hands at him from the door
When it seemed as if I could bear no more.
The fault must have been partly in me,
The brid was not to blame for his key.
And of course there must be something wrong
In wanting to silence any song.

The Storm
It
seemed an indignation,
And
a miracle at once,
The
way the rain came pouring down,
The
way the hail could bounce.
With
amazing consternation,
The
lightening filled the sky,
The
thunder rolled from hill to hill,
The
creatures wondered why.
With
mighty concentration,
The
storm’s eye looked and saw,
All
the victims running wildly,
All
the hoofs and paws.
With
festive adulation,
The
winds blew out the force,
The
storm moved off to the west,
It
found another course.

QUOTES
"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it
will direct your life and you will call it fate.” ~Carl Jung
"My mother drew a distinction between
achievement and
success. She said
that 'achievement is the knowledge
that you have studied and
worked hard and done the
best that is in you. Success is being
praised by others,
and that is nice
too, but not as important or as satisfying.
Always aim for achievement
and forget about success."
~ Helen Hayes
It has long been an axiom
of mine that the little things are infinitely the most important.
~Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, (Sherlock
Holmes) A Case of Identity, 1982
E-mail rushes to and fro Since
paper letters seem too slow, But we prefer the status quo; This card was sent by escargot.
~Annonymous
What you are living is always an exact replication of
your vibrational patterns of thought. Nothing could be more fair than life as you are living it, for as you are thinking,
you are vibrating, and as you are vibrating, you are attracting—and so you are always getting back the essence of what
you are giving.
~Abraham (A.K.A. Esther Hicks)
Remember this when trying to handle
things in life: big enough to matter, and small enough to manage.
"The past is a result of the present, not the other way around. Do not
base what you prefer on what has been, for what has been doesn't exsist if you truly are a different person than you used
to be." Bashar
"The way people treat you is their karma, but the
way
you react, is your karma" ~ Dwayne Dyer
"The danger of the past was that men became slaves. The danger
of the future is that men may become robots" ~ Erich Fromm
"Coming together is a beginning;
keeping together is progress; working together is success." Henry Ford
